Woke to pouring rain, and came close to bailing. It must have been lighter in the northwest, because DD didn't seem as concerned, and she ultimately talked me into leaving the hospital and coming to the race. Met her and Chris dH, after race saw Tyler A. Constant rain through race, but less heavy. Still required significant wading at intersection of Havelock & 84th. My goal was to maintain marathon pace. I felt fine, like this was a pretty easy effort, one that I could possibly maintain for a marathon. Probably not quite, since this would extrapolate to a 3:20. Enjoyed the run, and glad I didn't bail.
