Got there without my shoes. Got creative.
0.5 miles barefoot on track. This was interesting - made feet work in ways they're not used to. Felt like the outsides of my heels were coming done pretty hard, but I felt light and fast while running. It was good to limit it to five laps - parts of my calves got sore just running that much. As I say, interesting.
Ten laps in pool. Seemed pretty slow going at first, but once I got into the zen of it, it was okay. Major complaint now is chlorine-burned eyes.
Not a bad workout for a shoeless guy.
