Notes

Sunny, not too cold, 29, light breeze out of the South. Ran to the high school the usual way and looped up around the parking lot. The access road and the parking lot were treacherous, super icy. Instead of going out to Somerset, I went back down to Hancock out to the light and back up Somerset. Then continued on through Stickytown. My left arch was still sore from the run on Saturday. Ran the uphills hard but took it very easy on the steep hill down to Maple St. Foot pretty sore after that so slowed down a little and it seemed to get better. Ran strides up the hill to Church and looped around Tom B.’s driveway. Didn’t go too fast down Franklin, tried to take a lot of little steps and the arch felt ok. Ran pretty hard all the way back and across the footbridge to the end of the sidewalk to make it 7 exactly. Easy cool down back across the bridge. Good run. Ran at a good training pace, except for the icy spots and to protect my foot. Nice winter day for a run.

Gear: pants, short tech T, long cotton T, sunglasses, water pack.
