Notes

Sunny, a little windy, but warm. It was 51 at the end of the run. Long run at the Riverlands. Since it was still hunting season I stayed on the main ATV trail. Plan was to run out, do the Bradford loop and come back. Felt ok at the start but my left foot was a little sore on the bottom, but it eventually went away. Fairly easy long run pace. Road was pretty muddy with some frost heaves. Just past the middle aid station spot for the 100 race, I came around a corner and a doe was walking away from me down the road. I stopped and she stopped here and there feeding and looking around, she never saw me. Then she walked back up the hill. That was pretty cool. At the end of the first part of the Bradford loop, I stopped to have half a Stinger waffle. Finished the loop and headed back. Realized I was going to end up at 12, so when I got back to trail that goes down to the river, I headed down there. The water level in the river was right back up to normal. Came back and looped through the field. Stopped at the Ledges landing to have the other half of waffle. Kept going at the same pace and actually felt good the rest of the way. Looped around the parking lot to get the final 0.1 mile to hit 13. Good run. Really nice day for it, especially for this time of year. Glad to be able to wear shorts one more time.Later inside back of left knee was sore.

Gear: orange NB shorts, orange White to Black shirt, headband, water pack.
