Sunny, warm, not humid, 82 deg.F On call this week-end, so decided to come to Rumford and run, then go to Mass. Bob joined me and we did the Lem Cissel loop clockwise. Once we got beyond the power lines, they have been logging big oak trees and the trail is really opened up. Pretty soft running and it is going to be a mess once the rains come. They cut all the way to the top. Ran down to the old laydown area. There has been some ATV traffic and the grass was beat down some. Ran down the long downhill and across the bridge to Isthmus road. Ran down the road to the trail head off to the left and went up around and back down to the other snowmobile bridge. Ran up to the power lines and back out to Scotties. Finished through Hosmer back to the mill. Good run, beautiful afternoon, but hot in the sun. Last long run before the LMS race.
