Notes
Cloudy, cold and windy again. 43 deg.F, wind chill 37. Wore shorts, long W2B tech tee. Bob and I ran to the high school, then around to the back. Caught a huge gust of wind as we came out of the woods. Ran through Scottie’s and up the trail. Took a left and went up, down and around, down to the brook in back of Swift River park. Turned around and went back in the reverse direction. Once we came back out on the power lines at the end of the Pine single track, we went up, up, and up the powerlines. Got to the top and stopped to take some pictures. We started around the corner and a big red-tailed hawk flew out of the woods with a squirrel in its talons. Pretty cool. Came down a trail off to the left and ended up on the high school trail. Ran down that and did the single track loop then back through Hosmer. Good run. Hip, groin, back all felt ok although back started to get a little stiff at the end. I think the long downhill may have bothered it.
