Notes

Cloudy, cool, on and off sprinkles, 58 deg. Bob’s heel is hurting again, so I went by myself. Ran up and did the new powerlines loop. Started out at a pretty good pace and tried to keep it quick and slightly uncomfortable. Once I got onto the old power lines, my throat started to get really phlegmy, even though I used my inhaler. Got worse as I went along. The back of my throat hurt, and my heart rate was really high. Had to stop a few times on the new powerlines, after steep climbs, to recover and let my heart rate come down. It felt like my asthmas was flaring up with a combination of not doing any real hard cardio in quite a while. I ran hard as long as I could then stopped to recover. Once I got to the high school trail I went a little slower and it seemed to be better. Still had to stop a few times though. My legs felt kinda fatigued on the hills, not sure if they were rusty or it was the asthma. Other than the breathing, it was a pretty good run.
