Notes

Sunny, hot, 82 deg. Bob and I did a fairly easy run out to the Rumford Boat Launch and back. My legs were really feeling yesterday’s hill repeats as we started up Steve’s favorite hill. We stayed on the Hydro road instead of going up on the power lines. Bob saw a new path that went up to the power lines at the end of the road. We stopped to check out the demolition of the old bowling alley. Then we took the new route out around McDonald’s to the boat launch. Stopped for a few minutes to enjoy the few, it was a really pretty day. Ran back but when we got to the end of Zinck’s field we stayed to the right and bushwhacked along the river scoping out possibilities for a new MTB trail. There’s one spot that a bridge would have to be built, but other than that it looked good. Went up high on the power lines on the way back, legs actually felt ok climbing. Good run after a tough workout yesterday.
