Sunny, hot, light wind, 70 deg. F. Really nice day but a little too hot for this time of year. Bob and I ran the usual way up to the Ledge and then down the back side to Backkingdom road. Ran down the road to the ATV trail and took that down to the trail that goes to the Middle school. Took a trail that went behind the middle school and came out at Meroby. Then we ran the road to Swett Ave and took the trail towards the Ledge, but stayed below the Ledge and went the usual way back to the Honda trails. We knew we would be just short of 10 miles so we ran to the Mexico boat launch and back. This was my longest run in quite awhile and I was feeling it. Legs were pretty tired once we got down off the Ledge and I was really starting to drag at the Middle school. Pretty much out of gas by the time we got back to the Mexico bridge. Left hip flexor was getting sore towards the end and my back was bothering me on and off. Good long run.
