Notes

Mostly sunny, cool but kinda hot in the sun, 69 deg. Bob and I did the reverse of a combined New power lines and Marden’s loop. After 2 days of rest, legs for both of us felt a lot less tired than last week. Ran to the high school and out back on the old railroad bed. Ran the single track and then up to the power lines, walked a couple of the steep sections. Took a left and ran down and around the reservoir. Then ran the trail out to Swain road, across and up the new trail to the dirt road leading up to the new powerlines. Ran up and up and up and finally came out on the Joe Pond trail, just as it comes out of the woods. Had to walk the last section of hill, I was totally gassed. Recovered on the flat passed the Joe pond trail and down to the boneyard behind the town garage. Had a GU here and headed for the Bowling Alley, Gorham’s field, and Zinck’s Air field. Felt like I had more energy. Crossed the bridge admiring the fall foliage colors. Climbed up the power lines and stopped to take a couple picture of the color at the top. Then back down to the mill. Good run, pretty long for lunch time. Everything felt good though. Nice day to be out.
