Wasn't sure what to expect from this long run today. I have been doing the majority of my workouts on the tredmill lately so I didn't know how that might affect me outside. Actually very happy that the run felt effortless for the first 14 miles although the final 6 was a little more of an effort due to my lack of nutrition. I took 2 gels with me but when I tried to get the first one down I wanted to barf from the taste. So I had no water or food intake for the entire run. I will experiment on the next long run with some alternatives.

Was planning on keeping the pace @ 8:00 mm but the first half of the run came so easy that I wanted to keep the pace even for the last half, it took a little will power but ended ok.

All in all a good run but I need to get my nutrition plan in place for the flying pig. I will not be denied my PR due to lack of proper food and water consumption.
