10 miles at GMP
During the warmup ( first two miles) I felt awful. My legs were sore before I started. I decided to just do what I could and not worry about getting a real tempo run in. Next few miles felt not so great, but just kept going. I ran a very flat stretch so that helped.
9:27 & 9:35 to warm up
Then 8:44, 8:56, 8:52, 8:46.
At this point I decided I'd run a half marathon and use my average pace to determine my goal pace for Boston.

13 - 8:05
Never let the first part of a workout tell the whole story. The second half can more than make up for a bad start.
Not sure I believe my HR monitor, but it says I averaged 138, maxed at 181.
