First 10k race for many years! 5th. From Coach & Horses (?) - Mill Bridge, cyclepath, Trimpell Triangle and back (finish behind Priory Fields). Pretty cold (4 degrees?) but otherwise ok conditions.
5:35 - 11:45 - 17:45 - 23:55 - 29:55 - 36:00 -ish. First three miles felt very straightforward; had to work in fourth mile; lost a bit of focus in mile 5; hard work from there to the end. Saw the clock ticking past 37mins as I ran down the last grass straight, but this was good and quicker than I had hoped for.
Then saw Morecambe 2 v Cambridge 0 w Nathan, Matthew and friend from London (John). Cold. Lots of disgruntled Cambridge fans! But free pies.
