Felt pretty good starting out today. I wanted a hard effort. For now, max HR is an estimate until I can take the test, but I had at least 4 miles at 85% based on the calculator I used. HR maxed at 163 which is what I remember it being a few years ago when running a 5K. I am guessing my max is 175, but will see once I take the test. The calculator I used also takes into account resting and I need to get a reading on that as well. Just sitting around it is down to 43 so I am guessing it is pretty low when I wake up. I used 38 which is the reading I got several years ago.
