My first half marathon!! Finally!! My whole family came to the race. When the run started I high-five my girls and while running away I heard Emma excitingly saying "See that's daddy!". Just that moment alone got me going the whole way. After 8 miles I met with my family again and took a couple of minute break for the first time. The next 5 miles I ran non-stop again but I felt that I got tired in my legs. Regardless I kept going until the finish line, where Linda, Emma and Alexis were waiting for me. All in all a great race and I am very happy with my results. I can't wait for my first marathon coming along and I am positive that I won't be able to wait until October for the Hartford marathon. UPDATE (6/19/2005): I wasn't able to wait. I just signed up for the Race Around The Lake Marathon in Wakefield, MA on July 29, 2005. YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!
