Notes
This was planned to be a 15 mile run but experienced something new at mile 6.5. While running a easy pace for 6.5 miles I decited to walk for a minute, even though I didn't feel I had to. After a couple steps of walking I felt a sharp pain in my left knee, which brought me down to the floor. It hurt like crazy and I had trouble getting up, forget about running further.
So I managed to get up and I started walking with the pain still very strong in my knee. Across the street was a fire house I easy could have gone and getting help. But I tried to walk a bit more and eventually the pain was durable. I ended up walking all 6.5 miles home.
That night it still hurt and this morning it was a bit better. Anyhow I'll see a doctor next week just to make sure. After all, the Avalon Benefit 50 mile race in Catalina Island, CA is waiting...
