Was supposed to be a progression run, but by the time I got to mile 4 the heat was getting to me and it was hard for me to keep pushing the pace. I was cotton mouthed and dying of thirst. My legs, however, felt pretty good. Shins and calves didn't feel great, but not as terrible as they'd been feeling, either. Wanted mile 5 to average to 8:40, but kept stopping every 1/4 mile slowing my pace.
