Notes
So my plan was to do about 8. When I got out there, 69-degrees and overcast felt cool compared to the last three days of running in the heat (yesterday was 86-degrees). There was also a light breeze that cooled me off. I also lost more weight so I am feeling lighter and smoother. So when I hit the 4 mile mark, I decided that I felt so good that I'd just keep going.
I feel unbelievable. My running style feels more efficient and economical. My posture is straighter and I just do not feel like I am expending energy. I feel like I am floating and never get tired when I am on the move. I realize my pace is relaxed but I just have rediscovered the pure joy of running.
I am not sore and just feel like logging a ton of mileage. And, most importantly, I feel like my body can handle the increase in mileage. In a way I am exploring to see where the limit is. I am not sure but 51 miles last week was not it. I might try to get closer to 60 this week if I continue to feel as fabulous as I currently do.
