Notes

After a day's rest and literary perfect weather, I had a lot of energy on today's run/. I intended to go 12 but then decided on 14. Everything just felt too smooth and perfect not to take advantage of so I went another 3. My pace (8'53" overall) is faster than I have been doing this. But I just decided that I was not going to look at my watch. My only purpose was to be out there and enjoy the run.

I glanced down to see my pace and I realized it was faster than usual but I was not pushing it. In fact, I was just laid back and enjoying the flow of the run. My stride feels so smooth and efficient these days. And my body is just craving miles at the moment. So I went with the moment and just let my body dictate pace. There were points in this run that I was nearly in a zen-like state of tranquility. This was an awesome run today.

I was going to do striders but decided 17 was probably too much for today. Tomorrow I have a hill workout in Brecksville. So I will hit some striders thursday morning. Today was a near perfect run - weather, energy, and peacefulness.
