Followed my race plan pretty closely - much tougher than my last 50 miler due to the course and to not having as much training in. Very happy with the results, I definitely ran a better race despite the extra 20 minutes. The water trap near the beginning of each loop was fine for loops 1-3 but wrecked my calves on loop 4 and my toes stayed numb the last 9 miles (they were blue when I took my shoes off after the race.) Still, passed a lot of people on loop 4 and didn't get passed by a single person so I'll count that as a victory.
