Well that was fun. First mile and half up a snowmobile trail about 8' wide. Washed out on parts. Saw single track but didn't make much of it as i wanted to keep trucking up the hill. Quickly decided the single track would be a good idea and a nice change. Indeed i was right. Lots of switch backs. If there isn't a race on this preserve, there should be. Fun, and challenging. Still very windy (30mph Gusts) and light snow coming down (driving really).
