I'm SO sore! My quads were killing me - I could barely walk up and down the stairs! My glutes are feeling the hill workout from Wednesday. Sitting in a canoe for an hour and then running afterward with sea legs and numb feet will really do it. Oh, the pain.

Luckily, today was "moderate" distance. We opted to do Pleasant Hill backwards (instead of the Crystal Springs run that Jerry wanted us to do...). It felt okay since we weren't going at a challenging pace and my soreness sort of fell to the background after a while. We started going a bit faster though and then I felt the challenge. It wasn't hard though - it was a doable pace given the conditions. When we finished though, I was tired.

Also, Skyler and Tanu have the firm belief that this run was more than 6 miles and closer to 7. Uh, not from what I've mapped it isn't. Eh.
