Recovery slow run, with aim to help safely boost base mileage.

Humidity 60%.

Went for a slow recovery style run, aiming for 9:30 or below tempo. I found it pretty difficult to maintain an effort that resulted in this tempo, and fell from the pace often. With about 1.5 - 2.0 miles to go, I shortened my stride, and worked on keeping my core more stable, which translated into a very comfortable pace increase. I need to be conscious that changing my running gate and style might open me up to injury, but I will continue throwing this into my workouts to see how they work out. Overall, legs were tight, stiff, and annoying. Rolled out both legs pretty well after the run, and they feel better already.
