Notes
This was not what i expected for this race, i had planned on breaking 17 but that did not happen. The mile workout I did on Wednesday was still affecting my legs slightly. The warmup went ok, i had to get a ride out to the start from a group of people i didn't know, the busses were running late so i had no choice. I got to the start and warmed up. I saw Pierce Murphy and talked to him, he said he wanted to break 16 so i knew i wouldn't need to worry about beating him. The race started out decently, they had the course marked on the KM so no mile splits, i hit the splitsat 3.15, 3:14, 3:38, 3:42, 3:38... after the first 3:38 Pierce and another guy had about 100 meters on me and I did not have the desire to push back. I had a very comfortable lead on 4th place and i cruised in the remainder of the race. Overall I was surprised i didn't push out any harder, but not the end of the world... this was the first "official" race since TT 2008 so nothing to be ashamed of :)
