Sprint spikes (Read 654 times)

    i have a pair of XC spikes that i used for this past season. in track practice we warm up in  our trainers and my feet feel fine. but when i put my spikes on, my shins, feet, and knees hurt. i am a sprinter so i run 100, 200 and 4x1 Relay. i was wondering are using the long distance spikes for sprints hurting me? should i get a pair of sprint spikes too?

    Goals For 2011:

    sub 2:30 800m

    Sub 6:00 Mile (PR 5:34)

    Sub 20:00 5k

    250 Mile Club

      No sprint spikes won't help with this. Making the translation to sprint training five days per week is tough on the body.
