I had GPS data I wanted to clean up (to remove the end of a route) and so I exported to GPX. When I import again, elevation data is not shown under the map. Is there a way to get RA to recalculate the elevation on the map?

The GPX file you imported probably contained a constant elevation height of 0. It shows up as a blue line along the bottom of the x-axis. When a map has elevation, the map won't bother to fetch new data, which is probably what you're seeing. To force the map to resample the elevation, press the elevation button twice. The first time it disables elevation, and the second time it will resample. It may take a couple of seconds for the new elevation to show up.
