Geeky Runners Log question... (Read 509 times)

    So, in between two training programs, I've been running 3 miles to the gym, doing some strength training and running back...would you put that as 2 separate 3 mile runs in your log or would you add them together? Just curious what other people do...

      If I'm wearing the same shoes, I usually lump warmups and cooldowns together. If they are completely separate workouts at different points in the day, then they get their own workout.

        I would log them as two separate runs. My take is that in between, even if I am lifting, my cardio/respiratory system is taking time off and recovering, so it isn't the stress that one long run would be.

          I'm extra geeky with the running log thing so I would log three separate 'events' in that situation - two runs and, I guess, a gym workout.
