I'm a heel striker...do I need to change? (Read 1057 times)

I was wondering if it could be the reason why I'm so injury prone when I do speed work and hills. In the last week,I have been attempting to change my foot strike and my calves and feet are really sore. Maybe I should work on it in my off season?
If you have been getting injured on a consistent basis, trying to change might be a good idea. I changed over in Jan and my calves were wicked sore for the first few weeks, had to take more recovery days. I figured that's a good thing, the muscles are sore from working during the run. They don't get nearly as sore now and I'm able to run alot longer. Took about 3-4 weeks for my calves to adapt to new workload. Your form looks really good in the pic.

Sure. Why not? It's a fair question. But you know the hot button topics always get interesting. Something about hot buttons and mom's just is not right. * I have no shame.
