First time in the 7's!! (Read 384 times)

Ok, not speedy compared to most of you all..but speedy for me. I ran my 5 mile race this morning and ran it with overall pace of 7:35! Couldn't believe it. First time ever I've had a pace that low...now I'm wondering if I could have done it even faster??? We did have some extra put on to the 5 miles (detour around some water on the trail) so I'm going to look for another race like this one. I still enjoy the longer ones the most, but this was fun only in a totally different way! Fast enough at my old age to get 3rd in age/gender category and my oldest won the kids race! Great day overall. CC p.s. the McMillan calculator was right on!

That's awesome! Great job. Funny how you always want to go back for more after a good race.
