Yes the 620 does NOT seem to be prone to these problems. I have corrected my post.
For me it was wet wipes and a clothes pin.
I had all sorts of problems charging my 610. I moved on to a 235 and so far am very happy with it.

I happen to have a second charging cradle. So, I carved off the stand-off portions of f the charging nodes. Seems to get a good connection so far. Thanks for the suggestion.
