Can't upload workout from garmin (Read 43 times)

I'm using a macbook pro, firefox 39.0, os x 10.10.4, garmin express 4.1.2.0, and I've installed, and re-installed the garmin communicator plugin multiple times.

Yet, when I click on workouts and upload from GPS I get a message saying I need to install the garmin communicator plugin. And it won't upload my workout. This is the first time I've had this problem, and I've used this site for years.

What can I do to troubleshoot this?

Never mind. It works now. I disconnected the watch, re-connected it, then all of a sudden I got a message about blocking the plugin, and that allowed me the option to not block it, then all was well.
