After my run, I could not get the thing to respond (no, the bezel is not locked). Didn't find any answers on Garmin's support page. Before I email Garmin, I thought I'd try here.

this happened to me just recently. you have to hold in enter and quit for like 7-10 seconds. the garmin will do a hard reset after that and it should be fine. with mine now though, i have lost all map info for some reason and it won't upload any new routes anymore. no one seems to know what to do so i'm lost. have you ever heard of this happening?

The enter and quit button press x 10 sec worked - thanks. I have no idea on the problem you're having.

That being said I did contact them once a couple years ago and they got back to me in a day or two with very thorough and helpful information.
