http://www.philadelphiamarathon.com/page/marathon Have the result come out yet? I can not find them. In the past, they became available very soon. I always worry about that new timing device may not work, especially I stapled two ends of the timing chip together because I messed up teh adhesisve tab

Thanks see my results: chip time 3:40:08 (but I thought I beat 3:40:00 and already bragged it) This kind of disposable timing chip worked for me and I now knoew I can simply staple two ends with a paper stapler.

you can also put them on inside out (or upside down), even though the instructions are very specific about doing things right side up. I know because I messed it up at Portland. That said, while you *can* staple it, you need to be very careful. The magic of the technology is an RFID chip embedded in the middle of the paper. If you staple through the RFID, your chip is RIP, DOA, KIA, and SNAFUed. Best to just not mess up the adhesive Smile.

The papeer is transparent so you can see the chip embedded. You can see the chip so that you won't staple over it.
