So, people from MI. Technically, I am not really in my place posting here. (as in my place is not Michigan) However, I just learned my FAVORITE sister will be moving to MI in June. My Bro. in law has found his anesthesiology residency there. Sounds like she will be moving to one of the Detroit suburbs, probably Troy. Any thoughts? I have one. Maybe this means Bells beers are in my future.

I'm amazed...15 pages of Michigan based nothingness.... So a question for all of you Michiganders. Do you actually claim the UP as part of Michigan....cuz there are some wierdos up there. My BIL lives up there and the stories I have heard..wow..if I lived in the lower part of Michigan I might try to give the UP to Wisconsin. Although as a former Wisconsin resident I don't think they would take it....needs more cheese. And how did Michigan get the UP in the first place. The only way it is connected is by a 4 mile long bridge.... Ok....this should get this thread moving along again. Proceed with the posting so I have something new to read at work.
