Get off my porch
We're supposedly looking at 100dF temps with 80dF dew point today. I don't know how accurate that is but I'm running after sunset regardless...
jfa
I pay my ass off to live here, but it's sooo worth it this time of year.
I live 3 miles from the ocean. Temp at my house after work, 93*.
Temp at beach 85*
Ocean swim following 6 mile run, priceless.
Prince of Fatness
95 + 64 = 159. And very little shade. That sucked.
Not at it at all.
This is becoming a problem for me. Even running at 6am, it's too hot.

Runners run
This is an interesting idea. Hot baths in the days before a hot race in order to heat acclimate. Might be worth a try.

You must be an oldman, running in underwear and such.

Apparently, saunas work much better
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
I've tried that. To prepare for a hot afternoon run I've driven home from work without the A/C on. Felt just like a sauna.
It didn't help.
I don't have a sauna in my apartment. Do you?
