Prince of Fatness

    I vote for April Fools.

    Semi-back-at-it.

Field limit also reduced by 10,000??

        I'm willing to believe them.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

When I went back and reread my own post I saw that it directed to mybaa, and not baa.org but was curious in the responses.

Would people care if the standards dropped?  Would it be better for the race?  Not really sure on limiting the number of entrants, if that makes a big difference or not, just in the number of people that can run it any one year.

Flourcity, it works better like this...

I was ready to believe the 10-minute tightening. But the field-size drop to 15,000 made no sense.

I think they should keep dropping them. Maybe 3hrs for 60 year old guys. Move the open times down to 2:20 and 2:40.

Betcha they wouldn't fill in November.

Do you think they could get 15,000 people to fit those standards?

So, would dropping the qualification times significantly increase the number of bandits?
