I will be there - first marathon in about 3 years I think. No chance at a BQ, but should have a big PR since my best marathon to date was about 6 years ago and I like to think I am faster now.

I'll be there. My first marathon ever and I can't wait. I live less than half a mile from the Merrimack river and have been training on the route as much as possible. Ran one of the loops this morning in fact to get a better gauge of the distances between the bridges. No idea what my time will be but my 21-mile training run was in 3 hrs flat so I should be able to finish somewhere under 4hrs. See you all there!

I am superstitious about putting my goal time in print, but I am hoping for faster than my Boston '08 time (3:26). I won't even tell my family. We'll see! I put in a lot of miles for this one and now I just have to keep my head on straight. How about you? CNYrunner

Well it's my first marathon so I'll be happy with anything under 4 hours, but I'm secretly hoping for 3:45.
