I am enjoying my Inspires and am looking for a similar shoe, just to mix things up; Something snappy, with a bit of support and a dash of 'good morning, let's roll!'

I think you may be overestimating the role a shoe can play.

Wait...maybe he really wants coffee. Someone should make a shoe infused with caffeine that can absorb via the feet. That would be excellent. I would start running sans-socks if that existed.

Elixir? I like them. Kind of a speedy version of the Inspire.

Get the Mizuno Wave Elixir. They are performance trainers with some support. They are basically light weight Inspires. If you want to take it a step farther get the Mizuno Ronins.

xenoplastic, I don't know much about the Ronins, so I may look at them and the Musha.
