Ok so I went out today and decided to push it. It was my mid-week longer run. So I ran first 5 easy, then pushed down to around 8 for miles 6,7,8 and then went back to easy for last mile. Felt good, haven't done that in too long. I am wondering if because of the injury, etc I ditched hills, speedwork, etc. Time to add in the hills, going to stick with tempo for longer mid-week runs. Will let you know if this all helps. Sure felt good this morning though!
