Garmin import freezing at 97-100% (Read 361 times)

Good evening,

 

I can't seem to complete importing my Garmin data today. I get to "Downloading from GPS: Receiving tracks (100%)" (at least anywhere from 97%-100%) and then... nothing. My screen just sits there staring at me with that message. I've imported lots and lots of data from my Garmin with no problems in the past. I tried emptying out old data from the Garmin, I tried

 

Has anyone else had this happen before? Any idea if it is the Garmin end, the RA end or the user end?

This is a common problem with the Forerunner.  The Garmin engineers never heard of it but I know it is their problem.  The only solution for now is to do the manual reset.  I'll add a bit of code in the future to detect this situation and display some instructions on how fix it.
