A cricket hopped out.
This has happened several times actually. They seem to like my garage.
The worst was on my last run. Finished the run, took off my shoes and there was a smooshed cricket on the end of my sock.

That there is bad luck.
Jiminy!
You should run more.
But not terribly bad luck... Be glad you live in cricket country. A scorpion shoe story ain't such good luck. My shoes stay indoors when not on my feet.
winner!

I had a huge cricket in our garage jump from the floor to my neck a couple of days ago...I SCREAMED!
Getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to

I scream for ice cream.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
I had a huge grasshopper head butt me on my run yesterday. I will not admit to screaming...
I do that, too...but I scream louder for crickets. And it would have been interesting to see what a HRM would have recorded during that moment.

I was flying down a hill on my bike a couple of weeks ago, and I hit a wasp in mid flight and it fell down my shirt. I could feel it walking around on my stomach while I tried to control the bike and come to a stop..
Jeebus Christ, that sting hurt......
Experts said the world is flat
Experts said that man would never fly
Experts said we'd never go to the moon
Name me one of those "experts"...
History never remembers the name of experts; just the innovators who had the guts to challenge and prove the "experts" wrong

I always shake out my running ahoes before I put them on, my cat likes to store grasshoppers and moths there ...
Runners run
...found a rusted out green 1972 Chevy Nova up on blocks. Weird. So I went barefoot.

Better than having a slug in there. That's really gross. Especially if you step on it. Yuck.
not bad for mile 25
I ingested a flying creature this morning. Bigger than the usual gnats.
