2:36:31 unofficial. Fantastic. Just a bit of sandbagging
2:36:31 for a massive PR (again), way to go JMac
There's no need to log in. Just click "I'm not a participant" then enter his bib on the top right search field. PS: you can add more than one runner. I can see Brewing is also running there and he's on pace for 2h58

Amazing consistent race JMac. A well earned, brilliantly executed PR.
Given how amazing the race was, we can wait 24 hours before discussing the violation of thread rule 8

My week:
M: Strength training
T: 2x (5mi 4mi 3mi 2mi 1mi) with 2 minute jogs in between. This was the toughest I've completed so far.
W: 12ez
T: Off, fighting a sore throat.
F: 14 @ long run pace.
S: 12 ez
S: 1.5k T + 3k T + 5k T with 1k jogs in between. I've nailed the first 2, then had a rough patch up to 3k in the last block but came around and managed to sprint to the line for a sub 20 (out of pride). Target was 19:40, so not ideal but I guess I'll take it.
I've only managed one strength training session as I had to prioritize running while fighting off the cold. It's still not gone away though sigh.
Great weeks guys!
Kimba- I would say at least 2x per week with striders...starting at 4 and working up toward 6-8. I would do more if you are doing no workouts or 1x per week if you do two speed workouts during the week.
Mark-I never understood the 300m jog on workouts. They drive me crazy cause it keeps moving the start and finish of the 800 or 400....maybe your tracks are marked better, but in US you usually are trying to use the exchange zones to mark the 100m and 300m spots. I always run 200 or 400 recoveries. Not a criticism, but just saying that is too much math for me to do in a workout.
James- Welcome to the base building boredom!
Watson- Good luck on Tues. Get up on those toes the last 1k.
Flavio....can you explain this to me? it looks like you ran 30+ miles to me.....
EDIT: Nevermind...you mean minutes not miles.....**facepalm""

Not a problem I can see how it was confusing.
It was a very hard workout as it was Daniels I pace, especially that 5 minute block.
