Setting Default Map Location (Read 30 times)

When trying to change my default map location (under Options -> Locale) the Default Map Location section isn't working. I can type in an address but nothing happens when I hit enter. The map doesn't allow panning/zooming either.

Me, too. Resetting Default Map Location doesn't work when I try to reset from Japan to my current US location. It's quite a bother to manually zoom out and drag all the way across the Pacific and zoom in again to find my way to my US starting location every time. I hope it gets fixed soon. It's going to be a drag to do this every day for a month.
