They are doing construction on a big section of the field - looks like they're putting a building or stadium in.
I ran the first 2 laps and they felt pretty rough- tired, my left foot hurt in the usual spot, etc. And then, I tried letting my heels drop a lot more weight into the ground, and things just instantly improved in many ways. The foot pain disappeared, i felt more energetic and less out of breath, and my form felt vastly more efficient. I am not exactly heel striking, just letting the heel really make full weighted contact with the ground.
