Red Track Girl run with Blue Track Boy today. The run was awesome and I can still find it hard to believe that the body allowed me to keep that pace up with joy and no pain. CS is almost non existant and back was tight a little just in the beginning. I run hard but it is beautiful that I could do that by pleasing the body and not punishing it. This was one of my most beautiful runs with Franc. Very co-ordinated and well tuned. Franc loved the course and this makes me even more excited to run with him. It is nice taking him the places I used to run and share with him the pleasure he gets and get this together. I even talked to him during running a bit. I must, though, not get into that habit as I perform better when I do not talk and also my running is my meditation. Franc is good he, by now, has learnt the rules. It was beautiful indeed running together again. I worked very hard up hills and maintained a good steady fast pace all around. I felt strong and felt comfortable and confident in body. I am glad I did not run with the club tonight. Franc and I needed to have the first run together. We both LOVED IT. Now I feel so exhausted after a full day's work and I am ready to retreat to my comfortable bed. This was a good start for us both and the end of my worries for my running. Great confirmation. Splits:- 9:16, 8:23, 7:59, 8:32, 8:41, 8:25,8.08. It was a tough course with long up hill workout for 2 miles to start with and also nearly another 2 miles near the end. This run meant a lot to me for two reasons. First because my body was able to do the course with pride but also because I run with Franc and shared this experience.
