The Ron Hill Mile + 2.2 around the River Nith. This has now become my favourite loop, running around the river. It is beautiful especially when Town gets quiet with less traffic.
I ran in my new NB shoe / 880v6 (birthday present)! I am o.k running in it but it is a badly designed show by NB. Although the sole supports the feet well and feel soft and accommodating the foot to top part is ugly, looks like boat shape, with small 'tongue' and does not snug the upper part of the foot right. Unfortunately I have no other choice in NB which accommodates my arthritic toe joint and so I have to get used to it. It is a shame that my favorite shoe of all times / 1080v4. has now been discontinued. I had purchased around 10 pairs over the last two years and now it is gone. Tough as it is I need new shoes as all my previous pairs have done beyond and above 600 miles!!!! So, I am on the hunt for the next ideal shoe for my running and up and until then I will have to persevere with the 880 V6.
