Notes

What a wonderful bright with light /sunny Sunday.

Days like this do not come very often here in Scotland.

I have not felt great over the last days due to intense & stressful working environment which in turn has caused me lack of sleep too. I felt very tight on the chest on Fr & had feelings of nausea along with mental and physical fatigue. It was the first time that I can remember in years when I had plenty of time to run, I wanted to and I had to stop myself yesterday from doing so. I felt my body was not going to work with me and that something would happen if I did run. So, following a good night's sleep I went out for a run today and it was beautiful.

It is not easy to live without running when work stress is taking control over you and again it is tough to do it when your body is physically beaten up. 'The Chicken & The Egg' and it can become a vicious cycle indeed.

But today I was the winner. I managed to reject all 'crappy' thoughts and worries about work during my run and enjoy the good things. I went into a zone and focused on my breathing / live breathing and nature. It is so beautiful running by the river and it is all flowing and nothing stays still.

I felt some tightness and dizzy a bit near the end but all in all I was fine.

I loved my running and had no physical issues apart from a little niggling from right hip. Nothing to worry. I think I need some trigger point work there.

I now feel so relaxed and contended. I need more runs like today's run.
