BRUNO

Notes

It was wet/wild and very windy. I run all the way in heavy clothing soaked to the bone and on a tough course. Nothing was on the way in terms of CS. This was a miracle run for me. But ironically enough I was poisoned by the power drink which caused me to vomet at 15 th mile point of my run and after a 4 tough miles of indigestion and burning sensations and a painful stitch on the right hand side of my stomach I had to stop on the side and be sick. I literally crawlled back home for last 3 miles determined to finish as I had no other choice. Due to water flads everywhere I became immerced to water up the half of my legs at least 10 times and my shoes were carrying all the weight feeling as I was sailing in a little boat rather than running. At 15th mile point I stopped for a min to try to release and this made me feel a bit better at the time although I got cold very quickly and dehydrated but unable to drink because I was feeling sick all the time. This was a tough course, tough run but still the good news is that at no point I had CS. BIG SURPRISE NO MATTER THE OTHER OBSTACLES. At least now I know that I never in my entire running life attempt to use any power drink whatsoever. I have lost trust to any of these little power drink bottles as for the last long runs I had I experienced severe indigestion but today's running experience was the worse.

The Good News, however, is that CS did not exist. Tomorrow I shall be finding the side effects of the whole matter. As for today my body has gone to entire shock. On my return home I became sick again and felt completely wiped out but better in a way. It was relief to get rid off the poison from my body.

This run was one of its kind.
