Notes
1st of July today and after a descent night's sleep I had a reasonably good run. Legs did not hurt today and I felt light. Running in the middle 9's felt easy, something that is not normally the case nowadays. I do know that sleep matter to me. When I have lack of sleep and am physically tired my body takes tantrums and CS is the winner. Any little vulnerability and CS gets into there and thrives. A very nasty condition indeed! But in today's run I was the winner.
I am learning new routes, combinations and loops and soon will be able to extend, combine and create different routes. I miss the Springholm Hills (steep and long) but I am sure I can find some descent ones here too. Only here I may have to be repetitive a bit. The good thing is that I have the track when needed and so I can do some speedy training when ready.
It is exciting after all to get to know the land of Dumfries not just for working but running this time. I have worked here for over the last almost 20 yrs but everything through running takes a different dimension.
So, today it was a good start for July and hopefully I will now settle and set into a comfortable routine.
