Notes
I run with Evgenia tonight. She is a strong fast runner especially on the hills.
It was joy running in her company. She goes to a rhythm so much easier nowadays. Nice to have her company. She is quiet and does not chat so I can also go in my own zone to think or empty my thoughts.
We kept each other going. Initially I my body felt stiff and rigid for a mile or two. I then put more effort and I , somehow felt loosen up, and it was more fun.
Evgenia usually does the 2.8 loop but on this occasion I took the lead and she was happy to follow. I feel we did around 4.5 miles.
It was good in the end for both of us. We picked up the pace especially up the hill having fun competing against one another. It felt like playing a game and I then found it in that game how fast Evgenia can be.
Give way to the young. As we were approaching home with just about 200 yards to go she took off and as I was watching her I felt and thought. Hm, if Evgenia drops the Ice she will be a damn fast runner.
It was nice tonight no matter the 'wild weather'.
